Former Priests and Teacher at McQuaid Jesuit High School accused of sexually abusing students in the 1970’s/80’s

Former students at McQuaid Jesuit High School have come forward to claim that a former teacher and two former Jesuit priests sexually abused them when they were students in the 1970s and 1980s. First female sex abuse victim of University of Michigan Dr. Robert Anderson comes forward in lawsuit

          The first female sex abuse victim of the late University of Michigan physician Dr. Robert Anderson will come forward this week to share her story publicly.   Dr. Robert Anderson, now deceased, has been accused of sexually abusing hundreds of student athletes spanning decades during his time employed at the University of Michigan. Former Edison High School student claims teacher abused him in the 1980’s

  Under the Child Victims Act, a former Edison High School student is suing The township Board of Education claiming he was sexually abused by a teacher in the 1980s. The suit, filed in Superior Court last week, alleges that the school board “failed to take reasonable steps” to protect the student from the abuse. Woman suing school under the Child Victims Act decades after alleged sex abuse

  A woman who claims she was sexually assaulted by a janitor  while she was a student at the prestigious Horace Mann Elementary School in Binghamton is now filing a lawsuit 33 years later, under New York’s Child Victims Act.  According to the lawsuit, which was filed Friday in the state Supreme Court of Broome County, the abuse happened while she was in first grade back in 1987.   In the lawsuit, the girl said she was  approached by a janitorial employee — who was not named  in court records — inside the school building, then taken to a house about […]

Ohio State university to pay out $42 Million in settlements for sex abuse by School Doctor

Friday Ohio State University announced  that 162 men will receive a payout of $40.9 million as a settlement for lawsuits against  Richard Strauss, a longtime athletics doctor at the school, for sexually abusing them when they were students. The investigation began in 2018 amid allegations against Strauss who had worked-as a doctor at Ohio State University from 1978-1998 and  committed suicide in 2005 at age 67. Ex-teacher charged in sex assault of six girls to face trial

A former first-grade teacher in Nebraska who prosecutors say admitted to sexually abusing six girls has waived his preliminary hearing and will head to trial, according to reports. Gregory Sedlacek, a 30-year-old former teacher at Fontenelle Elementary School, stood before a judge on Wednesday in Omaha, where he waived his preliminary hearing in connection with six counts of first-degree sexual assault on a child and one count of third-degree sexual assault on a child, KETV reports.
