Sex abuse trial of famous singer R. Kelly has been delayed

 

The trial of famous singer, Robert Kelly, AKA R.Kelly,  accused of multiple counts of sex abuse and kidnapping, has been delayed. The trial was postponed because federal prosecutors needed more time to research and analyze the hundreds fo electronic devices.

R.Kelly, an artist who has pleaded not guilty to an updated federal indictment that among other things, includes sex abuse allegations, appeared in a Chicago court.

Kelly was charged  last month in a 13 month count suspending indictment with counts of child pornography, sex abuse and other accusations. 

He appeared in a Chicago Court and pleaded not guilty to an updated federal indictment that includes sex abuse allegations with a new accuser, just  a few weeks ago in an orange jumpsuit 

The sexual abuse trial of singer R. Kelly has been postponed after federal prosecutors said they needed time to analyze hundreds of electronic devices.

Hi attorney, Steven Greenberg, said there were several concert and audio recordings that were taken as evidence and “they’re going to find a lot of music.”

Kelly has said he is disappointed that his case is not going to trial any earlier and he remains in good spirits. Two fo Kellys former employees who were also charged have pleaded not guilty.
