Former priest accused of sexually abusing young boy in the 1980’s

  The Rev. J. Gregory Mulhall, a former Ilion priest and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany are among those named in child sexual abuse complaints dating back to the early 1980’s.  Mulhall,  who served as pastor of Annunciation Church from June 12, 1961, until his retirement in 1985, is accused of  sexually abusing a minor from approximately 1983 to 1984. Former Edison High School student claims teacher abused him in the 1980’s

  Under the Child Victims Act, a former Edison High School student is suing The township Board of Education claiming he was sexually abused by a teacher in the 1980s. The suit, filed in Superior Court last week, alleges that the school board “failed to take reasonable steps” to protect the student from the abuse. Prestigious NY Private School facing lawsuit claiming decades old sex abuse of students by teacher

  At $50,000 year tuition, New York’s Saint David’s School in Manhattan is considered a highly prestigious all-boys private school.  However, it now faces allegations by former students of unreported  sex abuse by teachers spanning decades.  Peter Defeo III, now 59, claims that 50 years ago he was abused repeatedly by teacher Robert Ludlow, who is now deceased.  He claims that he was abused as young as  8 years old. Church accused of knowing Bishop sexually abused young girls and did nothing

    Joseph Neipp, 72, a former Bishop at the Church in San Jose, is accused of sexually abusing two sisters, known  as Jane Doe and Jane Doe 2. The lawsuit claims that the Church in San Jose knew about the former Bishops abuse and could have prevented it from happening.   Neipp was once the bishop of San Jose’s Branham Ward in South San Jose where one of the sisters allegedly met him when they enrolled in a church-sponsored program. Former Firefighter pays large settlement to man accusing him of sexually abusing him when he was a child

  Hugo Fleites , a former city firefighter was sentenced to 10 years in prison for sex abuse of a child dating back to 1997. Fleites was ordered to pay $2.75 million in compensatory damages, $2 million in punitive damages, and $8,441 in legal fees, resulting in a settlement of more than $4.75 million. The victim, identified as John Doe in court documents, says he was just 12 years old when Fleites, then 35, began sexually abusing him. Salamanca Teacher accused of sexually abusing two students

  Now that courts are opening again, two lawsuits have been filed by two former students of  the Salamanca City School District. The law suits have been filed in state Supreme Court in Cattaraugus County alleging a teacher sexually abused them. High School Teacher arrested for alleged child sex abuse of student

  Stephen E. Raught, a teacher at Owen J. Roberts High School in Chester county has been charged with sexually assaulting a female student in the school. School administrators allegedly have known about his prior record of inappropriate behavior with students and did not take action. St Cloud Diocese settles lawsuit filed by adult victims of childhood sex abuse by clergy

  The Catholic Diocese of St. Cloud has settled a law suit for accusations of clergy sex abuse.  The $22.5 million  settlement by the diocese is meant to compensate the sex abuse survivors accusing priests of molesting them decades ago. Pastor pleads guilty to sexually abusing infant and several other children while manufacturing child pornography

Jerry Zweitzig, 71, a retired pastor at the currently closed Horsham Bible Church,  has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting an infant. This is his second admission to sexually abusing a child.  Zweitzig has pleaded guilty to charges of manufacturing child pornography. Assistant Principal of Day Care in El Dorado arrested amid allegations of child sex abuse

  A day care worker in El Dorado has been arrested under a child sex abuse investigation.   The sexual abuse allegedly happened approximately five years ago at EduCare Daycare Center on the Butler Community College campus in El Dorado but police reports were not made until this week. During the investigation the assistant director of the day care,  Brent Martin, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
