Florida AG Bondi launches site for tips on past sex abuse by priests

ttorney General Pam Bondi has launched a tip site as part of an ongoing investigation of past sex abuse by Catholic priests. The investigation is getting help from the Department of Law Enforcement in reviewing the state’s seven Catholic dioceses. “FDLE will work with the Office of Statewide Prosecution and State Attorneys to independently review records of the Catholic Church to ensure any allegations have been reported and investigated,” said FDLE Commissioner Rick Swearingen in a statement. Substitute teacher accused of having sexual relationship with 15-year-old girl

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – A former college baseball player and substitute teacher at a Hollywood charter school was arrested Wednesday after it was revealed he had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl, police said. Diocese of Brooklyn agrees to historic $27.5 million settlement for church staffer’s sexual abuse of 4 boys

  Four boys who said they were abused by a perverted volunteer catechism teacher at a Catholic church have reached a $27.5 million settlement with the Diocese of Brooklyn. The agreement is believed to be the largest settlement ever on behalf of an individual arising out of sexual abuse in the Catholic Church, according to attorneys Ben Rubinowitz and Peter Saghir. Accused pedophile hired at charter school was banned from jobs at Broward public schools

DC Jewish preschool faces sexual abuse allegations

WASHINGTON — An employee at the Washington Hebrew Congregation in Northwest D.C. has been placed on administrative leave following allegations of sexual abuse involving one or more children at the Macomb Street Edlavitch-Tyser Early Childhood Center. Falzone Re-Arrested on Felony Charges for Allegedly Molesting Children at Renaissance School

Last night Christopher was re-arrested on 14 additional charges of sexual assault and lewd and lascivious behavior relating to the little girls he allegedly molested at Renaissance Charter School.    The families are relieved that Christopher Falzone was arrested and charged for the heinous crimes he allegedly committed against their little girls.  This is a very difficult time for the families made worse by the allegations that the Principal at Renaissance Charter was warned about Falzone last October.  Click here for Case Details

A school hired him after unproven fondling accusations. They’re being sued for over $5M by Herman Law Client

  A second $5 million lawsuit has been filed accusing another Broward County elementary school of ignoring alleged butt-grabbing and other inappropriate behavior by a teacher. The suit filed by a former third-grade student of Christopher Falzone accuses Renaissance Charter School at Cooper City of negligence and Title IX education violations. Falzone was arrested Aug. 13 after a camper at Fort Lauderdale Camp Live Oak, where he was a counselor, accused the 35-year-old of repeatedly fondling her.
