David Ryan, former Pastor at St. Francis de Sales, under investigation for child sex abuse

  Parishioners in Lake Zurich, Ill  attended mass Sunday morning at St. Francis de Sales without their usual pastor, David Ryan. Ryan, the pastor at St. Francis de Sales for 14 years, was named in an investigation of child sex abuse allegations last week. The  Archdiocese of Chicago asked Ryan to move  away from St. Francis de Sales during the investigation. According to the St. Francis de Sales parish website, 25 years ago, Pastor Ryan was the Maryville Academy in Des Plaines’ assistant executive director and was in close proximity to 1,100 infants and children. Edward Gonzales, foster parent in Belen, accused of sexually abusing teenage boy in his care

  Edward Gonzales, a  foster parent in Belen, has been accused of sexually abusing a boy over a 3 year period, starting  from 2017. The alleged victim, now age16, is accusing Gonzales, age 37, of raping him for over 3 years beginning when he was 13-years-old. The alleged victim lived with Gonzales in a Belen home on Highway 147 until this year. Peter Tomlinson, former President of Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce, accused of child sex abuse

Peter Tomlinson, 63, the former President of Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce, is accused of “five counts of paying for the sexual services of a girl under the age of 13,” according to the National Crime Agency said. Tomlinson is being charged with 12 counts of child sex abuse. Tomlinson is a business man who resigned from 10 different roles in the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce, and has since resigned from duty. Teachers and staff at the once prestigious Green Chimneys School in Brewster, NY are now being accused of  child abuse, including child sex abuse, spanning over the course of decades. Over 90,000 claims filed against Boy Scouts Of America this week

  Larry Akers is among the thousands of people who filed civil lawsuits against the Boy Scouts of America before the deadline this week. He was only was 9 years old when a Boy Scout leader from the neighborhood troop in Hamilton, began giving him extra private attention. Cardinal Vincent Nichols allegedly ignored child sex abuse claims

    Cardinal Vincent Nichols, the leader of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, was asked by Pope Francis  to remain in his post, regardless of a report that claimed he ignored allegations of child sex abuse during his leadership. Dr. Gregory Miscik, family counselor in Latrobe, accused of sexually abusing underage female patients

  Gregory Miscik, a family counselor in Latrobe, has been accused of child sexual abuse and sex trafficking of his own clients, who were all young children. Known as Dr. Miscik, the family counselor has been accused of sexually abusing his female young clients at his office at Ligonier Avenue in Latrobe. Investigation of Theodore McCarrick alleged child sexual abuse reported to Pope John Paul II; yet still promoted to highest official

  An  internal investigation conducted by the Vatican alleging that the late Pope John Paul II was warned about allegations that Theodore McCarrick sexually abused children was just disclosed to the public today. Monsignor Joseph Kelly, latest priest to be named in the Diocese of Scranton sex abuse scandal

Diocese of Scranton is still in the news regarding the priest sex abuse scandal. Teacher accused of sexually abusing and sodomizing a minor

  Micca Watts Gordon, 36, of Shelbyville, a  Jefferson County Public Schools employee, is charged with  sexual abuse and sodomy of a minor. Gordon was a teacher at the all-male middle school W.E.B. Dubois Academy. She is  under investigation for allegations of sexual crimes involving a child under the age 16.
