Vatican Officials to visit Mexico to investigate Sex Abuse

  Two Vatican officials who were investigating the sexual abuse allegations by Clergy will visit Mexico this month on a fact finding mission.  Archbishop Charles Scicluna  and Monsignor Jordi Bertomeu will meet with alleged victims and church leaders on this week long visit to the worlds second largest Roman Catholic country.  The Church had requested assistance fro the Vatican to help the vulnerable and young in Mexico. “We’re confident it will improve the response to these cases, looking for civil and canonical justice under the principles of zero tolerance, so that no case goes unpunished in our Church,” Miranda , […]

Two nursing home workers accused of sexually abusing elderly in Alabama

32-year-old Ashley Johnston and 26-year-old Anna Scroggins, two former employees of the Marshall Manor Nursing Home in Guntersville, Alabama, have been charged with multiple sex crimes. The suspects have been charged with sexually abusing at least 5 elderly membrs of rhe nursing home.  Scroggins was charged with elder abuse, public lewdness, first-degree sexual abuse and second-degree voyeurism, according to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office. Trump’s ex lawyer, currently serving 3 year prison sentence, requests to be home for fear of COVID-19

Michael Cohen, Trump’s prior lawyer, who is currently serving a prison sentence has asked to be placed at home because of the fear of coronavirus in federal lockup. Federal prosecutors with the Southern District of New York argued Cohen’s request  was no different than any other inmate and there are no circumstances to prove he should have any special treatment. Courts in New York halt hearings may effect Child Victims Act

  One of the country’s largest and busiest court system, in New York, has stopped filing and cases that aren’t essential. The New York court system said it will begin holding virtual hearings all in response to the COVID-19. Will the window for Child Victims Act be extended another year due to COVID-19?

Children’s vulnerability to Online sexual predators increases with COVID-19

As a result of COVID-19 closing down schools, children are even more at risk than ever before to online predators due to the developing environment and world circumstances. Increased risk of child sex abuse during COVID-19 CRISIS

Science Teacher in 1970 accused of sexually abusing 4 students

A Maine-Endwell School District District has been accused of sexually abusing\ 4 students in 1970.Robert Goodwin, the former science teacher has been accused of sexually abusing four unnamed students at the Maine Memorial School dating back to 1970. Sex abuse trial of famous singer R. Kelly has been delayed

  The trial of famous singer, Robert Kelly, AKA R.Kelly,  accused of multiple counts of sex abuse and kidnapping, has been delayed. The trial was postponed because federal prosecutors needed more time to research and analyze the hundreds fo electronic devices. R.Kelly, an artist who has pleaded not guilty to an updated federal indictment that among other things, includes sex abuse allegations, appeared in a Chicago court. Jeffrey Epstein’s Estate Executors want to dismiss CVA lawsuit based on age

  The estate executors of Jeffrey Epstein are trying to get a lawsuit that was filed under the  Child Victims Act to be dismissed based on the premise that the alleged abuse occurred when the victims were adults, new court papers have documented. This filing for the Epstein estate relates to nine women who had claimed that the now deceased Epstein was a pedophile and sexually  abused them between 1985 and 2007.
