Father Michael Pfleger, outspoken activist and Chicago Priest, accused of sexually abusing a child decades ago

    The  Archdiocese of Chicago announced last  week that Father Michael Pfleger, a respected priest  in Chicago, has stepped down from his ministry after a decades-old child sexual abuse allegation.  Cardinal Blase Cupich sent a letter to the St. Sabina community, addressing the child sex abuse accusations against Father Pfleger, dating back more than 40 years ago. Pfleger was the pastor of St. Sabina Catholic Church, in Auburn-Gresham, since 1981. Mario Rodriguez-Ramirez, former pastor, accused of sexually abusing young girl

   Tempe police have spent the past 6 months investigating 48-year-old Mario Rodriguez-Ramirez, a man who was once a pastor. Police said the  sexual abuse began in 2015, when the little girl was just 9 years old and he was the pastor of her Church.  Rodriguez-Ramirez took the victim and two other children to Kiwanis Park in Tempe, where he allegedly hugged and kissed the girl inappropriately  when she reached the ground after going down the slide, police say. Father Bill Lombardy accused of sexually abusing two altar boys in the 1960’s

    Father Bill Lombardy, a former priest and grandmaster chess player,  portrayed in a movie about chess player Bobby Fischer by actor Peter Sarsgaard, has been accused of child sex abuse. In a new lawsuit by two prior altar boys, Father Bill Lombardy is accused of  sexually abusing the two boys when they were altar boys.  Lombardy, who died at age 79,  is accused in the lawsuit of sexually abusing  these two students in the 1960s, when he was a teacher in the Bronx at St. Mary’s School. Two lawsuits filed against Archdiocese of New York and St. Mary’s alleging child sex abuse

    Two new lawsuits have been filed against the Archdiocese of New York and St. Mary’s by adult survivors of child sex abuse under the Child Victims Act which allows adult survivors of childhood abuse to file claims against their abusers.. Both victims claim to have been abused by  Father William Lombardy and Father Raymond Foster. Both plaintiffs claim to have had similar abuse experiences. Father Michael Pfleger accused of sexually abusing minor over 40 years ago

    The leader of St. Sabina Church, Father Michael Pfleger, was an anti-violence activist, has been accused of sexual abuse of a minor dating back more than 4 decades. He has been removed from his post.  A statement was issued this week Cardinal Blase Cupich , saying he asked Father Michael Pfleger to leave his role during the investigation by the Archdiocese of Chicago. Church Cult Jehovah’s Witnesses accused of child sex abuse allegations

    Fairbridge Restored Limited, a former Christian group often described as a “cult” has become  the only institution that has not  joined the National Redress Scheme for victims of child sexual abuse, despite having a combined 77 claims  of child sex abuse against them. Kenja Communication, Fairbridge Restored Limited, and Jehovah’s Witnesses, will no longer be eligible for government grants and could possibly lose their charitable status for tax purposes after deciding not to sign on to the scheme by the end of 2020, which denied victims recourse to compensation. Rev. Michael Tierney, now deceased, named in several lawsuits alleging sex abuse of altar boys

    Rev. Michael Tierney, a priest from the Kansas City-area, also  one of the named priests on the list of clergy credibly accused of sexually abusing minors, has passed away at age 76.  The Rev. Michael Tierney died on Dec. 15, 2020.  Tierney had been named in several  civil lawsuits that accused him of sexual abuse of minors. The Catholic Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph removed him from all pastoral assignments back in 2011, however,  he was never prosecuted. Father Woody added to list of credibly accused of sexually molesting children

    Father C.B. Woodrich, also referred to as “Father Woody”, was well known  in the Catholic church for his charitable work with the homeless. He is now also well known for allegedly sexually abusing three young  boys in the 1970s and 1980s. “Father Woody,” is now on the list of credibly accused priests who have sexually bused children decades ago. Cardinal Vincent Nichols allegedly ignored child sex abuse claims

    Cardinal Vincent Nichols, the leader of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, was asked by Pope Francis  to remain in his post, regardless of a report that claimed he ignored allegations of child sex abuse during his leadership. Investigation of Theodore McCarrick alleged child sexual abuse reported to Pope John Paul II; yet still promoted to highest official

  An  internal investigation conducted by the Vatican alleging that the late Pope John Paul II was warned about allegations that Theodore McCarrick sexually abused children was just disclosed to the public today.
