Over 90,000 claims filed against Boy Scouts Of America this week

Cardinal Vincent Nichols allegedly ignored child sex abuse claims

    Cardinal Vincent Nichols, the leader of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, was asked by Pope Francis  to remain in his post, regardless of a report that claimed he ignored allegations of child sex abuse during his leadership. Investigation of Theodore McCarrick alleged child sexual abuse reported to Pope John Paul II; yet still promoted to highest official

  An  internal investigation conducted by the Vatican alleging that the late Pope John Paul II was warned about allegations that Theodore McCarrick sexually abused children was just disclosed to the public today.   A young priest is currently under trial at the Vatican under charges of sexually abusing an altar boy inside Vatican City walls over a span of 5 years. Charles Eugene “Chuck” Price, former policeman, arrested fro child sex assault and kidnapping.

    A former policeman employed  at Winthrop University and Clover is in prison for child sex abuse crimes and is now charged with kidnapping in addition to approximately 50 more charges involving multiple child victims. Charles Eugene “Chuck” Price, 48, was served this week with additional charges, including kidnapping and criminal sexual conduct against minors in the first, second, and third-degrees. Vincent Dutkowski, former basketball coach at Seton Catholic High School sexually abused students in 1970s

  A former basketball coach at Seton Catholic High School in Endicott, who is now deceased, has been accused of sexually abusing a student when he worked there in the 1970’s. Vincent Dutkowski is named in  four more lawsuits that have been filed  in the state Supreme Court of New York,  accusing  him of sexually abusing students  when he was employed at another Catholic school in Poughkeepsie, called Our Lady of Lourdes High School. Former Child abuse detective sentenced to 50 years for child sex abuse

    A former child abuse detective from Anne Arundel County was sentenced to 50 years in prison this week, for committing the same sex abuse  crimes he used to investigate as a detective. Juan Trinidad Torres, age 64, sexually abused two minors over the course of 10 years.  Torres pleaded guilty this summer to two counts of second-degree sex offense , two counts of sexually abusing a minor, and one count of continuing the course of abuse with a child. 13 victims of child sex abuse sue Devereux Behavioral Health for negligence staff abuse

  Thirteen adult survivors of childhood sex abuse are now  suing Devereux Behavioral Health, alleging the nonprofit knew about, yet failed to stop the sex abuse. The victims claim that the staff knew about the sexual  misconduct that was going on and did nothing to stop it or help the children.
