Krisel McSweeney has dedicated her legal career to representing victims of abuse. Prior to joining Herman Law, Krisel provided legal services to minors, most of whom were victims of child abuse, sexual abuse and human trafficking. Krisel joined Herman Law in 2016 to continue her work with survivors of sexual abuse as an attorney with the firm.
Krisel earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2014. While attending law school, Krisel worked as a Certified Legal Intern in the Domestic Violence Unit for the Miami-Dade Office of the State Attorney, and served as a Mentor for the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review. Krisel was a Law Student Intern at Yale Legal Services Organization where she provided legal representation to the impoverished immigrant community in Connecticut.
Krisel graduated Magna Cum Laude and was awarded the St. Thomas University School of Law Probono Commendation in 2014.
Krisel is admitted to practice in the state of Florida.
