Suit Filed Against Ex La Petite Employee Producing Child Pornography

San Antonio, TX – A lawsuit was filed against La Petite Academy in connection with a former employee’s arrest for producing child pornography at the facility in San Antonio.  Nicholas Gonzalez-Malven was arrested on federal child sex abuse charges. An investigation discovered Gonzalez-Malven took photos of himself sexually abusing a boy at the day care and then sharing those photos on social media sites such as Kik Messenger and Grindr. Former KinderCare Employee Charged with Sex Abuse of Minor

Raul Teroy Tuban, a former employee of the KinderCare Learning Center in Gaithersburg, was released on a $25,000 bond from the arrest for sexual abuse of a three-year old girl.  Tuban was employed by the day care as a cook and driver for 13 years. While attending KinderCare, October 22, 2016 the child awoke from a nap to Tuban touching her inappropriately. The child told parents that evening of the assault, who in return reported the incident to the day care immediately. Trial Begins for Former New Mexico Teacher Accused of Sexual Assault

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A trial is underway for former Albuquerque Public School teacher charged with sexual assault of a special education student. Kenneth Jehle is accused of touching the student as well as making her touch him. According to the Albuquerque Journal, Jehle was indicted in 2016 on 10 criminal counts including sexual misconduct of a minor as well as possessing/manufacturing child pornography.   Jury selection has started, and if convicted, Jehle could serve 37 years behind bars.   For the full articles: KRGE.com ABQJournal.com

Maryland school system sued following teacher’s conviction

Washington Post article re Herman lawsuit vs Maryland Public School SILVER SPRING, Md. — The conviction of a Maryland teacher on child sex abuse charges has led to a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against a county board of education. Local news outlets report the lawsuit was announced Thursday by attorney Jeff Herman. It says Montgomery County schools “failed miserably at protecting its students” from 50-year-old John Vigna. North Carolina man accused of sex offense at preschool

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release they received a report on July 7 from Our PlayHouse Preschool and Kindergarten, between Saxapahaw and Chapel Hill, alleging inappropriate conduct between a part-time teacher and child during the school’s summer camp in June. Thomas has previously worked with other early childhood development agencies and programs.
